Tour Program

Tbilisi

Your guide and driver will meet you at the hotel lobby.

Mtskheta

The tour will start with a visit to the Jvari Monastery, immortalized in literature by Mikhail Lermontov (poem "Mtsyri") (6th-7th centuries). From the monastery, you will enjoy a mesmerizing view of the town of Mtskheta. Next, you will visit the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, the second-largest church in Georgia. The cathedral has always been the heart of the Georgian church and remains so today.

Uplistsikhe

Then, you will head to Uplistsikhe, an ancient cave city, one of the oldest settlements in Georgia. Gigantic cave grottos open up on the rocks, where life once thrived.

Gori

The final stop will be at the Joseph Stalin Museum in Gori, where you will find the famous armored train of the leader of the people.

Tbilisi

Return to Tbilisi. End of the tour.
